Website Design

Red Lorry does offer website design services. There are two facets', the first part is the design of your website and what ever other areas of your site you require design work on, e.g. a user profile page, or store skin. The price for this depends on the design brief that you give us.

Once you have signed off on the design, we then start to skin the design for you. This is the process of taking the design and "programming" it to work with your Red Lorry website. There is a standard charge for this of R 2,500.00, which includes the skinning of a one page template with a fluid height but a fixed width. The site is guaranteed to work in Internet Explorer 7 and higher and Fire Fox 3.6. Other options such as fluid width, additional browser compatability or additional page designs will need to be quoted for separately.

Internet Hosting

Red Lorry offers two types of Internet hosting - Basic and Advanced.

Basic hosting is a hosting package that hosts mail HTML Java or Flash websites, and ones that does not normally need to be up dated very frequently.

These packages do not allow database access or any form of server scripts such as ASP, ASP .Net or PHP, therefore Content Management Systems (CMS) such as Joomla or DotNetNuke. This hosting is more suited to a business or individual that wants to either store files on line or host a static website.

Our Advanced hosting packages allows you to use Internet scripting languages such as ASP, ASP .Net and PHP. You are also allowed access to databases such as MS Access and MS SQL as well as MySql. The advanced hosting packages are perfect for developers who want to host their applications or users who want to host their own CMS package such as Joomla or DotNetNuke.
